Wild Things Holiday Club Terms & Conditions
Fees*:
● Wild Things’ day rate is £38
● We offer a full week discount, making our weekly rate £175
● Fees are payable online only.
● Please be aware all bookings are final, we cannot offer cancellations or refunds.
*Fees will be reviewed annually.
Collection
Wild Things operates from 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday during school holidays.
● With prior notice, children may be collected at any time before 4pm. If you need to arrange an early collection, please notify a member of Wild Things staff at 8am what time the child will be collected and who will be collecting them.
● In the event that you the parent/carer are unable to collect a child, you must notify Wild Things staff of this as soon as possible and arrange for one of your emergency contacts to come to collect your child.
● While we appreciate that accidents and delays on the roads and rail do happen, in the event that a child has not been collected after 30 minutes without any contact from Parent(s)/Carer(s) or emergency contacts, Wild Things’ manager will contact the local Social Care team for advice.
First Aid
We will always have a trained first aider and a fully provisioned first aid kit on site. Our first aider will record any accident, whether first aid is administered or not. An ambulance will be called if a person is:
Unconscious, not breathing, or suffering from anaphylaxis or in shock (and after the use of EpiPen) Breakage of bones / dislocation of joints, Eye injuries, Excess blood loss, Seizures Asthma attack (not controlled even after the use of an inhaler), Choking. Other injuries including electric shock, burns and scalds, exposure to foreign substances, poisoning. If emergency services are called, an allocated person at Wild Things will call the parents/carers immediately.
If a first aider judges that a child is too unwell to remain at Wild Things, parent(s)/carer(s) will be contacted and asked to collect the child. Please be aware if a child is bitten by a tick whilst at Wild Things, the child will need to be collected, as these can only be removed by parent(s)/carer(s) or a medical professionals
Behaviour Agreement
● Please read the Behaviour Agreement provided before your child commences any Wild Things club.

Wild Things Holiday Club
The Staff at Wild Things Holiday Club believe that children are entitled to childcare of the highest quality in a safe and secure environment. Wild Things Holiday Club will promote the highest levels of citizenship so that the children can have a happy and calm start and end to their day.
Wild Things Holiday Club will:
● support, value, appreciate and respect each child and their family
● share our behaviour expectations with children in every morning assembly
● celebrate and encourage making good choices
● communicate readily with Parents and Carers about our Behaviour Policy and their own child’s behaviour
● provide welcoming and friendly Staff so that Parents can discuss concerns readily
● provide a calm and happy environment where children are given consistent care
● resolve conflicts promptly and fairly
● nurture self-esteem, confidence, tolerance, acceptance and self-discipline
● provide appropriate support and specific arrangement for children with additional needs
Children will:
● respect other people and their belongings
● Listen carefully to instructions from Wild Things staff
● be polite, well-mannered, tolerant and considerate
● have a high regard for the school building and the club’s materials and equipment
● resolve conflict and disagreement in a non-aggressive way
Parents/Carers will:
● drop their child off at Wild Things no earlier than 8.00am and collect no later than 4.00pm.
● discuss children’s behaviour and report any concerns
● notify Wild Things of any changes to contact details
Failure to respect our behaviour guidelines may necessitate:
● removal from the situation
● a telephone call to the Parent(s)/Carer(s), followed, if necessary, by a letter concerning the child’s behaviour.
Exclusion
In the very unlikely event that a child or Parent(s)/Carer(s) are repeatedly disrespectful or aggressive towards a member of our staff or any child participating in our clubs, Wild Things may exclude children on a fixed or permanent basis.
